JKG Group Honored as "Vendor of the Year" by Royal Caribbean International

BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 16, 2007) - JKG Group, a multifaceted provider of marketing and corporate communications solutions, has been recognized with Royal Caribbean International's highly coveted "Vendor of the Year" Award less than four years after becoming a strategic partner with the Miami-based cruise line.

Nicknamed the "WOW Award," the honor acknowledges the "irreplaceable" role that JKG Group plays in the success of Royal Caribbean's international sales and marketing efforts, according to company officials. "JKG does not know the meaning of the word 'no.' They are 100 percent dependable and truly support us in every way possible," says Lisa Bauer, senior vice president of sales. "We come up with some very last-minute ideas and are always challenging them, but they are absolutely very innovative and they always meet our deadlines."

Adds Ken Muskat, regional vice president of sales-market development, "When you talk about over-delivering, this vendor gives it new meaning. They proactively call out ways in which we can save money and be more productive. And they created a website, which our sales team and our travel partners love to utilize to order collateral and other marketing materials."

Michael Woodring, JKG Group's chief operating officer, notes that JKG supports Royal Caribbean in ways that are both large and small - but always crucial. "Last year, drawing upon the expertise in our technology, creative, production and logistics divisions, JKG played a key role in the marketing efforts surrounding Royal Caribbean's launch of the world's largest cruise ship, Freedom of the Seas," Woodring says. "We were delighted that they entrusted this exceptionally important responsibility to us."

On another occasion, recognition gifts for a special event that had been ordered from China failed to arrive on time because of U.S. Customs complications. To ensure that Royal Caribbean was not disappointed, two of JKG's senior staff members extended a trip to Chicago and spent most of a day driving throughout the city to purchase replacement items.

Royal Caribbean cited both of these examples as well as the fact that JKG consistently supports its sales and marketing programs by successfully executing a wide variety of projects, seven days a week as reasons for honoring JKG as Vendor of the Year. "What makes them extra special is that they've absolutely customized their services to meet the needs of our brand," Bauer states. "Their partnership has been outstanding and it continues to grow on a regular basis."
