JKG Marks Sixth Year as FSC® Certified Printer
BOCA RATON, Florida - For the sixth consecutive year, JKG Group has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance SmartWood program to the Forest Stewardship CouncilTM standards for maintaining the highest standards in the use of products that come from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources.
JKG is one of an elite group of providers of printing services in Florida that hold this status. To continue to qualify for FSC certification, which it first obtained in 2005, JKG is required to demonstrate annually that it uses paper that can be traced through the FSC "chain-of-custody" from an FSC-certified forest, to a paper manufacturer, to a merchant, to JKG. The company produces a wide range of sales and marketing collateral, annual reports and other materials using FSC-certified papers.
A recent FSC study found that 84 percent of consumers have a more favorable image of companies that support environmental causes, while an increasing number of major retailers and other users prefer to buy certified products.
